Yes, you’ve read that correctly. Work on version 2 has begun. It was only released version 0.9.
Google has introduced a new framework at this year’s Google I / O, which I would like to implement. The framework promises minor updates and less storage space. However, I do not want to tinker the framework into the previous version, but only take the code that is really needed. This is to remove old fragments that are present from previous versions and tests.
But do not worry, the previous version will continue to be updated.
